The 9th Annual "From the Heart" event will take this evening in Rochelle.
"A Gala of Giving" will begin at 6 at the Hickory Grove Banquet and Conference Center.
4 local organizations will benefit from the money raised during the evening. They include CASA, Hub City Senior Center, Shining Star, and the Rochelle Area Community Foundation.
Last year, more than 225 people attended the gathering. $40,000 was raised from the dinner and auction along with calendars that were sold. The money went to 4 local organizations as each received $10,000.
Around 200 people plan to attend the activities tonight as the goal is to raise $40,000.
