Illinois officials are declining to make any additions to the list of diseases eligible for treatment with medical marijuana. The Illinois Department of Public Health made the announcement.
The pilot program will continue with 39 conditions and diseases listed in the original Illinois Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act. Advocates for expansion wanted conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder, autism and irritable bowel syndrome added.
