About 349-thousand Illinoisans are signed up for health insurance through the federal insurance marketplace, according to new data released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The report indicates the majority of those signed up live in the Chicago area.
The deadline to sign up for private health insurance beginning on February 1st was Friday, and open enrollment ends at the end of this month
