A Polo man remains in critical condition today at a Rockford hospital following a single vehicle crash Thursday night in Ogle County.
Sheriff's police say that 26-year old Scott Powell lost control of his car in the 55 hundred block of West Pines Road a short time after 10 that night. The vehicle left the pavement as it traveled into a ditch and then rolled over onto its roof.
Powell was ejected from the car when it rolled over. He was transported by helicopter from the scene to Rockford Memorial Hospital where he remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
The crash remains under investigation.
