An Ogle County judge set bond at $25,000 for an Esmond woman yesterday after she allegedly fired a 12 gauge shot gun in a home early Monday morning. No one suffered any injuries.
53-year old Jacqueline D'Onofrio has been arrested on the felony offense of reckless discharge of a firearm along with the misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
The altercation took place at a rural address southeast of Monroe Center. Ogle County Sheriff's Police received a 911 call in which a female needed hlep.
Police learned a short time later that D'Onofrio had allegedly fired the shotgun in the home.
She remains in jail in lieu of bond on the Class 4 felony offense. D'Onofrio returns to court on Friday for a hearing in Oregon.
