Ogle County Sheriff's Police arrested an Esmond woman early this morning after she allegedly discharged a 12 gauge shot gun in a home. No one suffered any injuries.
53-year old Jacqueline D'Onofrio has been arrested on the charge of reckless discharge of a firearm and domestic battery.
The altercation took place a short time after midnight this morning at a rural address southeast of Monroe Center. Sheriff's police received a 911 call in which a female needed help.
Police learned a short time later that D'Onofrio had allegedly fired the shotgun in the home.
She remains in jail on the Class 4 felony offense. D'Onofrio will appear before a judge later today in Oregon when bond will be set.
