Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle says that the emergency siren system is back working again at the Telecommunication Center in Oregon.
It was shutdown at the center early Sunday morning when it went off accidently twice.
Sheriff VanVickle said that the system needed a new computer.
The sirens were activated yesterday morning in Ogle County on the normal day they are tested each month.
The emergency siren is used in case there is severe weather in the area or a problem at the Byron nuclear power plant that would have an impact on area residents.
Rochelle emergency personnel also tested their sirens yesterday which is done the 1st Tuesday of each month at 10 in the morning.
