Lee County State's Attorney Anna Sacco-Miller has announced that she plans to complete her term in office despite a DUI arrest last November.
Sacco-Miller has decided not to run for re-election in 2016. She will remain in office until her term expires on November 30th of next year.
Sacco-Miller was arrested after her vehicle struck a parked car in Dixon. She was later arrested by Illinois State Police on the charge of DUI.
She has taken a leave of absence and is receiving treatment. Sacco-Miller plans to represent herself in the case.
She did return to her office in Dixon yesterday.
