Rochelle officials expect less money from the state

City officials in Rochelle are preparing for less money from the state if a budget is finalized in the near future by lawmakers and the Governor.

The state's 4 legislative leaders along with Governor Bruce Rauner was meeting today to talked about the issue. During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Rochelle Mayor Chet Olson said that they know the figure will be less from the state.

He said that the number may be around $100,000 or over 1 million dollars.

Mayor Olson said that they are watching expenditures very closely right now due to the problems in Springfield.

"Let The People Know" is heard on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 on Newstalk 1060 and rebroadcast Saturday morning at 6 on Newstalk 1060 and Sunday morning at 6 on "The Coyote".
