The Board of Trustees at Kishwaukee College is scheduled to meet in special session this afternoon as they plan to approve the contract for their new president.
An agreement has been reached to have Dr. Laurie Borowicz as the 5th president at the college. She replaces Dr. Tom Choice who will retire at the end of the month following 15 years at Kish.
Dr. Borowicz is currently the Vice President of Student Services for Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, Wisconsin. Her first day at Kish will be when the 2nd semester of classes starts on January 19th.
During today's special meeting, the Board of Trustees will also appoint an acting president for Kishwaukee College from January 1st through the 18th.
