Engineering work for the Rochelle rail expansion, 7th Avenue bridge, and a water main project along with the purchase of skid load generators for RMU and the renewal of health insurance coverage tops the agenda tonight for city officials in Rochelle.
The council meeting begins at 7.
The engineering costs will range between $44,000 to $67,000. The skid load generators will have a price tag of 1.6 million dollars along with a 5-year maintenance figure at just under $49,000.
The city will see a 6.1 percent increase in the coverage from Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The tax levy ordinance along with a special use permit for outdoor storage involving a local business will also be discussed this evening.
The Rochelle City Council meeting is open to the public.
