It was another successful year for the Two Ton Thanksgiving Food Drive in Rochelle as the 10th annual event was held yesterday.
Newstalk 1060, The Coyote, along with Anderson Plumbing and Heating and other area businesses in Rochelle hosted the drive as new record numbers were set.
More than
3 tons of food was donated for area families to enjoy this holiday season. $5,680 was also donated. The food and money collected goes to the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry for needy individuals and families in the area.
The food will be distributed on Saturday morning between 9 and 11 at Anderson Plumbing and Heating on 1st Avenue. Individuals will be at the business until all of the food boxes are gone.
