Lee County State's Attorney Anna Sacco-Miller was arrested Sunday morning on the charge of driving while under the influence following a 2-vehicle crash in Dixon.
Illinois State Police say that the 48-year old Sacco-Miller, who lives in Dixon, was involved in the accident a short time after 7am in the 500 block of East Fellows Street.
No one suffered any injuries as Sacco-Miller's car struck a parked vehicle.
She was charged with driving while under the influence, driving under the influence of blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Sacco-Miller posted bond on the charges and was released.
She was elected Lee County State's Attorney in November of 2012. Sacco-Miller is up for re-election next year.
