Ogle County Sheriff's police arrested a Rockford man on drug and alcohol charges this morning after they found him asleep in his car and stopped in the wrong lane of traffic in the 13 thousand block of East Route 64.
Deputies found 25-year old Ricky Davis sleeping in the driver's seat of his Chevy Monte Carlo facing eastbound in the westbound lane.
After further investigation, Davis was arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of cannabis, DUI, and no valid driver's license.
He was also ticketed for illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage.
Davis was transported to the Ogle County jail in lieu of bond following the arrest.
