Oregon man arrested on drug charges

An Ogle County grand jury has indicted an Oregon man after he was arrested this week on 2 counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine.

36-year old Graham Flinchum was charged with the Class "X" felonies following a several months long investigation of drug dealing.

Ogle County Sheriff's Police were assisted in the investigation by the Stateline Area Narcotics Task Force. Flinchum is alleged to have been involved in the sale and delivery of cocaine in the Oregon and Mt. Morris areas for several months.

The amount of cocaine during the investigation totaled between 1 to 15 grams. The counts are Class "X" felonies because the transactions took place near a church and park in Ogle County.

Flinchum remains in jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond. He returns to Ogle County court on December 14th for a pre-trial conference.

if convicted of the Class "X" felony, Flinchum faces a prison sentence of 6 to 30 years.
