Windy conditions has caused problems for area residents today.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 6 this evening.
Winds will be coming out of the west today at 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 miles per hour.
There have been numerous reports last night and this morning of tree limbs and power lines on the ground due to the high winds. Electrical power was lost this mornng for a period of time in the Village of Hillcrest while a transformer caught on fire in Creston.
There have been no reports of injuries from debris being blown on area roads which were struck by vehicles.
There has been at least 1 semi-truck that tipped over on it's side on I-39 due to the high winds. No one suffered any serious injuries.
