3 men have been arrested in connection with the death of an NIU student last month after he fell from a dormitory window.
19-year "Timi" Okedina of Des Plaines suffered fatal injuries from the incident. DeKalb County officials say that the teen had LSD and marijuana in his system prior to his death.
NIU Police have arrested 20-year old Michael Kielhack of Elgin, 19-year old Thomas Quirke of Aurora, and 19-year old Michael Montgomery of Naperville on the felony offense of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
Police say that Montgomery delivered 10 or fewer doses of LSD on September 24th.
Officials say that Kielhack and Quirke are students at NIU. Montgomery has withdrawn from the university.
Okedina, a geology major, fell from a window on the 11th floor of the Stevenson Towers residence hall on September 26th. He was pronounced dead a short time later at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.
The DeKalb County coroner ruled the death accidental.
Kielhack and Quirke return to court this Friday for a hearing while Montgomery is back before a judge on December 10th. They have all posted 10 percent of their bond and have been released from the DeKalb County jail.
