Money continues to be distributed from the Ogle County Long Term Recovery Committee for families who had damage done to their home or property from last April's tornado.
Many homes were completed destroyed or suffered damage from the high winds.
During this week's program "Let The People Know", Committee Chairman Cal Jacobs talked about the funds that have been released to area families.
He said that the committee has raised $525,000 in which $183,000 has been distributed. They have helped over 60 famileis since the tornado hit in April.
Jacobs said that there is a process on how the money is distributed to area residents.
Rochelle Police Detective and Emergency Management Coordinator Terry Inman joined Jacobs on the show this week.
