2 Mt. Morris men appeared in Ogle County court Friday for the first time after being arrested for the sale of cocaine.
Charged with 4 counts of the felony offense of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance were 30-year old Timothy Dial and 25-year old Ryan Rosenbalm.
Authorities say that Dial and Rosenbalm were allegedly involved in the sale and delivery of cocaine in the Oregon and Mt. Morris area for the past several months.
All 4 counts of the Class "X" felony offense are punishable by 6 to 30 years in prison.
Bond has been set at $100,000 for both men. Dial posted 10 percent of that figure and was released from jail as0. returns to court on November 18th for a status hearing. He plans to hire an attorney in
the case.
Rosenbalm remains in jail in lieu of bond. He is back in court on October 28th for a preliminary hearing. At that time, he will plead guilty or innocent to the felony offense.
Ogle County Sheriff's Police were assisted in the investigation by Oregon police along with the Stateline Area Narcotics Task Force.
