The Rochelle City Council met for around 20 minutes last night as the majority of the discussion centered around RMU projects.
Upgrades for the Scada system will cost $84,000. City Manager David Plyman said the last time work was done on the system was 5 years ago.
The city also plans to replace the relays at the Twombly Substation. The price tag totals $106,280.
Programing and testing for the relays will cost $39,650.
Appointed to the Utility Advisory Board last night were former RMU Electric Superintendent Joe Orlikowski and Daniel Carmichael.
