Governor Rauner is pressing Democratic lawmakers to pass a state budget. Rauner spoke yesterday at the annual meeting of the Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau in Oak Lawn.
He continued to push for reforms including limits on the collective bargaining of public workers. Rauner said if the Democrats decide to block the reforms, they should use their supermajority and pass a spending plan with a tax hike.
