A hunter was looking for a spot to bag a dear this fall, but found a pot patch instead.
Police say the hunter stumbled upon a large growth of marijuana plants in the Big Bend State Fish and Wildlife Area. Whiteside County deputies say the plants, some as large as Christmas trees, are worth about 250-thousand dollars.
