An investigation is underway to find out if there is a link between a missing two-year-old Rockford boy and the remains of a toddler found in a Chicago lagoon. City detectives traveled to Rockford to collect a DNA sample from a family member of Kyrian Knox.
The African-American child was reported missing last week but it isn't clear when he was last seen. Chicago police have been working to identity several body parts since they were found in the Garfield Park Lagoon over Labor Day weekend.
