The Rochelle Township High School board approved a new fiscal year budget last night as the district is looking at an operating figure of 13.4 million dollars.
Superintendent Jamie Craven said that it's a balanced budget, but they will have to watch their expenditures over the next 12 months.
Resignations last night included Technology Director Marty Brennan in June of 2016 along with Focus House teacher Linnae Anderson and Special Education instructor Mark Lamb in June of 2018.
The board heard an update report on the KEC program at Kishwaukee Community College in Malta. The district has 112 students taking courses.
Craven said that this program is very important for the district as students can get credit hours at the college while still taking classes at RTHS.
School officials met in executive session as the discussion included personnel. No action was taken.
