Rochelle police detective Terry Inman has been named the new Emergency Management Coordinator for the city. He will continue his current job with the police department.
Inman will be responsible for planning efficient and effective management of Rochelle emergency preparedness plans in case of a disaster in the community. This would include bad weather or a hazardous spill.
Inman will be work with city and county emergency management officials in the future to make sure goals are aligned and to involve more community members in disaster training.
Inman has been a police officer in Rochelle for the past 14 years.
