It was another successful year for the Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival as thousands of local and area residents attended the event this past weekend in downtown Rochelle.
From free live entertainment to a food court along with a parade, the 18th annual event was enjoyed by all ages.
Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival President Lisa Chrisco said they had 3 days of great summer weather which was a result of the big crowds.
She said they also had a larger number of vendors and carnival rides for area residents to enjoy.
Yesterday's main event was the parade which had nearly 100 entries. The Grand Marshall was Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle.
