Final day for 18th Annual Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival in Rochelle

Area residents have 1 more day to enjoy the 18th Annual Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival in downtown Rochelle.
Numerous activities are scheduled for all ages to enjoy.

Pancakes in the Park begins at 7:30 and goes until 11. There will also be a community church service near the Gazebo from 9 until 10:30 this morning.

1 of the big events today is the Lincoln Highway Festival parade which starts at 3. The parade begins near the intersection of Route 38 and Caron Road and then takes a left down Lincoln Highway as it comes to an end in the downtown area.

Festival President Lisa Chrisco said that they will once again have nearly 100 entries in the parade.

This year's Grand Marshall is Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle.

Before the parade, Ballet Nueva Imagen will perform between 1 and 2. The Ethan Bell Band will play between 4 and 6 followed by Rollin' Whiskey from 7 until 9.

The food court and beer garden will also be open today for area residents.

The raffle winner will also be announced at 9 this evening.

That's the 18th Annual Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival today in downtown Rochelle.
