Issues at the largest oil refinery in the Midwest are being blamed for a jump in gas prices in the Chicago area. GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick DeHaan says the largest crude distillation at BP's refinery in Whiting, Indiana, had to be shut down for repairs. Triple-A reports gas prices have gone up as much as 50-cents since yesterday in the Chicago Metro area. AAA spokesperson Beth Mosher says areas downstate won't be affected as much as the Chicagoland area.
