An Ogle County judge set bond at $10,000 Monday for 2 DeKalb men who were arrested last Saturday night on drug charges in Rochelle following a traffic stop.
32-year old Vares Montana and 27-year old Uriel Aguierre-Gomez have both been charged with the felony offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.
Local police seized a small amount of the drug during the arrest.
Montana was also wanted on 2 DeKalb County warrants for the original charges of DUI and driving on a suspended license.
In court yesterday, both men were given arraignments date for this Friday in Oregon.
Montana and Aguierre-Gomez remain in jail in lieu of the $10,000 bond.
