Rochelle police arrested 2 DeKalb men on drug charges this past weekend following a traffic stop in the Hub City.
The driver of the car, 32-year old Vares Montana, was arrested on the felony offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, along with resisting arrest.
He was also wanted on 2 DeKalb County warrants for the original charges of DUI and driving on a suspended license.
A passenger in the car, 27-year old Uriel Aguierre-Gomez of DeKalb, was also arrested on the felony offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.
Police seized a small amount of the drug during the arrest.
Montana and Aguierre-Gomez were both transported to the Ogle County jail without bond following the arrest. They will appear before a judge later today in Oregon.
