City officials in Oregon this week updated a couple of ordinances dealing with the economic development commission along with length of public comments during council meetings.
The commission wording dealt with the membership of the 11 individuals and where they could live to represent the community.
Residents can now speak for 5 minutes on a particular issue during an Oregon council meeting. The former time limit was 3 minutes.
The council met in executive session to talk about the union contract for the police department. It involves 7 full-time officers. No action was taken.
