A Rockford man is being accused of placing a bomb threat at a Virginia mall. Richard Joseph Henry Clay faces charges of threatening to bomb after multiple phone calls using "threatening language" were placed at the mall. Authorities say the bomb scare forced the evacuation of Tanglewood Mall in Roanoke late Sunday afternoon. A search found nothing dangerous. Clay was arrested later that night at a nearby hotel.
