A Stephenson County woman accused of hoarding close to 150 animals in her home will not go to prison. Tina McKinnon pleaded guilty Wednesday to animal cruelty charges. As a result, she'll serve two years of probation and is not allowed to own any animals.
McKinnon has also been ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation and pay 89 thousand dollars to the landlord of the home she was renting. She had 80 dogs and close to 70 dead animals in the Freeport house.
