The mosquitos that tested positive were collected in a trap near the health department, which is at 2250 N. Annie Glidden Road, said Greg Maurice, director of health protection for the DeKalb County Health Department.
This is the first positive test for West Nile Virus in DeKalb County this season.

Mt. Morris earlier this month. Winnebago and Stephenson Counties also have cases of the West Nile Virus.
No human cases of the virus have been reported at this time in Illinois for 2015.
