People in Chicago are still celebrating following the recent Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage. An estimated crowd of one-million gathered on the North Side yesterday for the 46th Annual Pride Parade. Several politicians were on hand including Mayor Emanuel and Republican U.S. Senator Mark Kirk.
The Stanley Cup was even seen on one of the more than 200 floats. It is not yet known if the parade will return to the North Side next year with city officials discussing the possibility of moving it downtown.
