A 47-year old Rochelle man suffered injuries this past weekend after he crashed his motorcycle west of Rochelle.
The accident took place a short time after 8:30 Saturday night on Route 38 near Center Road.
Reports indicate that the motorcycle riden by Ronald Creager was traveling eastbound at around 60 miles per hour when he lost control on the gravel shoulder and left the highway. The vehicle went into a ditch which was full of water.
Creager was transported by ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital with back and shoulder pain along with a cut on his nose. He was not wearing a helmet when the crashed took place.
Creager received a ticket for improper lane usage.
