A Davis Junction woman along with her juvenile passenger suffered injuries last night following a 2-vehicle crash in rural Sycamore.
The accident took place at the intersection of Glidden and South Mayfield Roads a short time before 8:30.
Cars driven by 48-year old Janice Bathje of Davis Junction and 24-year old Delana Herron of DeKalb crashed at the intersection.
Bathje's sports utility vehicle overturned following impact and came to rest in a ditch. She along with her juvenile passenger were transported by ambulance to Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb with non-life threatening injuries.
Herron was not hurt in the accident. She was ticketed by DeKalb County Sheriff's Police for failure to yield along with failure to secure a child in a safety device and having no valid driver's license and lack of insurance.
