The battle to put together a state budget keeps getting more heated. Governor Bruce Rauner announced yesterday that he is vetoing the proposed budget sent to him that he claims is nearly four-billion-dollars out of balance and includes no reform.
The Governor went on to say that his administration is proposing reforms that are reasonable and balanced and there is an opportunity to turn around both the state and the city of Chicago. The deadline to approve a state budget for 2016 is next Tuesday.
