Electrical power was lost for around an hour and a half today in Rochelle.
The outage included the downtown area along with Newstalk 1060 and "The Coyote".
The problem was centered around the older section of the Caron Road substation. The exact cause of the power outage is unknown at this time.
The majority of customers of RMU were impacted by the electrical problem today.
