Progress continues to be made for the families who suffered damage from the tornado which struck the area on April 9th.
Homes were destroyed or damaged in a rural Rochelle subdivision along with property on farms in Ogle County.
During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Cal Jacobs of Rochelle, who is the chairman of the Ogle County Long Term Recovery Committee, said that each family has been contacted by a case worker about their future needs.
76 families are contacted each week about their needs and problems.
Ogle County Emergency Management Coordinator Tom Richter joined Jacobs on the show. He said progress is being made each week since the storm. Construction has stated on many homes.
Richter said that some families are still talking with their insurance company about their coverage. He said that they are also concerend about the spirits for each family.
A support forum was held last night for affected families at the Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle.
