No one suffered any injuries early this morning following a 2-story house fire near the downtown area of Rochelle.
The blaze took place a short time after 4:15 at 309 2nd Avenue.
Rochlle Fire Department Lieutenant Dan Miller said that flames were coming from the home when they arrived on the scene.
The fire was contained in the 1st floor of the home.
Cost damage is estimated to be around $100,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Departments from the Ogle-Lee Fire Protection District assisted in the blaze this morning.
