A Memorial Service will be held this Sunday for former Rochelle Police Chief Ken Woolbright who passed away on May 22nd in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was 64 years old. The service will be from 1 until 4 at the Rochelle VFW with a remembrance period beginning at 3. The community is invited to attend and share in this time with Carla, Clint, and Monica along with their families. Ken started his law enforcement career with the Ogle County Sheriff's Department before 27 years as an officer in Rochelle. He was poilice chief for 7 years prior to his retirement.
Woolbright moved to Arkansas after his time with the Rochelle Police Department.
