Governor Rauner continues to push back at the 2016 budget proposed by Democratic leaders in the state general assembly. His office revealed a list of cuts yesterday he claims would be needed to balance what he calls a "phony" budget that is nearly four-billion-dollars in the hole. Cuts would include incentives for businesses, film tax credits, and childcare aid. Rauner also said he would have to close state museums and one or two juvenile correctional facilities.
