A judge is ordering former Dixon Comptroller Rita Crundwell to forfeit a large amount of personal belongings held in storage to help pay back the money she took from the city. Reports indicate that the items include trophies and awards she won in horse competitions. Crundwell is currently serving nearly 20-years in prison after pleading guilty in 2012 to stealing almost 54-million dollars from Dixon. The items in storage were discovered as part of an investigation by the U.S. Marshal Service after her sentencing.
