A Rochelle mother and her daughter suffered injuries yesterday morning following a caravan vs car head-on collision in Rochelle.
The accident took place a short time after 11:30 at the intersection of Route 38 and Dement Road.
A caravan driven by 23-year old Seth Pardun of Grantsburg, Wisconsin was traveling westbound on Route 38 and turned left onto Dement Road.
A collision occurred with a eastbound car driven by 51-year old Erna Erlenbach of Rochelle.
Erlenbach and her daughter were transported by ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Pardun was not hurt in the crash. He did receive a ticket from Illinois State Police for failure to yield while turning left.
Erlenbach received a citation for no valid driver's license and no insurance.
