A signature from Governor Rauner is the last step needed for a new law to be put into effect that would allow terminally ill patients to try experimental treatments. The "Right to Try" bill passed the Senate yesterday after being approved by the House last month. The proposal gives patients will a terminal illness the ability to use treatments not approved by the FDA.
