Lee County Sheriff's Police are investigating a robbery that took place early Tuesday morning at the Casey's General Store in Ashton along Route 38.
At around 3am, the employees reported that a male suspect entered the store wearing a T-shirt over his face and demanded the cash drawer be opened and that the worker step away.
The robber then stole around $100 in cash and fled the scene heading west from the store.
No one suffered any injuries during the robbery.
The male suspect is described as about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a white T-shirt over his face, a brown sweat shirt, blue jeans, and blue nike shoes.
