A Rochelle man suffered injuries yesterday afternoon after the motorcycle he was riding struck a tree in the Hub City.
Reports indicate that the crash took place at the intersection of Carrie Avenue and Stone Ridge Drive.
21-year old Lucas Carson lost control of the motorcycle as it struck a curb and then a tree.
He was transported by ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Carson was ticketed by local police for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and having no insurance.
