The Oregon School Board held a reorganizational meeting this week following last month's Consolidated Election. Mary Jo Griffin was the only person on the ballot as she was sworn into office.
There are currently 2 openings on the school board. Superintendent Tom Mahoney said that they interviewed 7 of the 8 candidates in executive session.
There are no changes involving officers for the board. Ed Smith remains President, Bruce Obendorf as Vice President, and Mary Jo Griffin as Secretary.
