A Dixon man escaped serious injuries last night after he crashed his car in Ogle County.
The accident took place at around 9:30 in the 85 hundred block of South Route 2.
Reports indicate that 65-year old Ronald Smith lost control of his 2011 Ford Mustang as it rolled over on the wet pavement.
Smith was transported by ambulance to KSB Hospital in Dixon with minor cuts and bruises. He was ticketed by Ogle County Sheriff's Police for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
